Morgan Stanley assumed coverage of Snowflake Inc. with an Overweight rating and a $262 price target, saying growth prospects have improved under Chief Executive Officer Sridhar Ramaswamy. The brokerage noted that Snowflakeโs positioning in artificial-intelligence and machine-learning workloads should re-accelerate revenue after several years of slowing expansion. Snowflake shares rose roughly 2% to 4.6% in early Wednesday trading after the call, implying about 22% upside to Morgan Stanleyโs target price. In a separate move, Piper Sandler initiated coverage of Upstart Holdings with an Overweight recommendation and a $75 target, citing the lending platformโs use of artificial-intelligence to sharpen loan pricing and disrupt traditional underwriting.
