The New York Stock Exchange on Monday premiered “Taking Stock,” a live, social-first financial news program that will broadcast from the exchange’s historic trading floor. The inaugural episode aired at 3:58 p.m. New York time and is available on the NYSE TV app as well as X, YouTube and other digital platforms. Hosted by former Cheddar anchor JD Durkin, the series is produced in partnership with FintechTV, Money2020 and Cheddar. NYSE says the collaboration is designed to reach retail investors where they consume most of their market information—on mobile and social channels—while providing real-time commentary ahead of the closing bell. The debut lineup featured UBS Head of Asset Allocation Jason Draho, Circle Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen, Axiom Space Chief Executive Tejpaul Bhatia and Solana’s Ecosystem Lead Jon Wong, underscoring the program’s blend of traditional market analysis and emerging-technology coverage. NYSE plans daily episodes that wrap up the trading session’s biggest moves and spotlight trends in equities, crypto and space-related ventures.
