U.S. equity funds have experienced significant inflows, attracting $1.1 trillion from 2020 to December 2024, in contrast to $233 billion for the rest of the world, including Europe, Japan, and emerging markets. This trend continued with inflows for the fourth consecutive week, primarily driven by investments in U.S. equities, which accounted for nearly 80% of the $30 billion collected by equity ETFs in November 2024. However, a report from JPMorgan indicated that there were also outflows from equity funds, excluding ETFs, totaling $7.8 billion.
