U.S. stock markets experienced a strong rally during the week ending May 16, 2025, with major indices closing within 3% of their all-time highs set earlier in the year. The market showed bullish momentum throughout the week, driven by gains in key technology and growth stocks including Tesla, Nvidia, AMD, Coinbase, Microsoft, and Netflix. The rally was supported by external factors and positive local news, contributing to an approximate 10% weekly increase in the broader market. Investors exhibited a fear of missing out (FOMO), pushing prices higher amid sustained buying activity. This upward trend marks a notable positive week for both equities and cryptocurrency markets.
