Switzerland has experienced its first major migrant riots in the city of Lausanne following the death of a 17-year-old migrant who crashed a stolen scooter into a brick wall while fleeing police. The incident triggered violent unrest over several nights, involving around 100 young individuals who vandalized the neighborhood and clashed with riot police. During the disturbances, a right-wing Swiss People's Party (SVP) politician was reportedly targeted in a lynching attempt.
