Blockticity, supported by Blizzard Fund and built on the Avalanche blockchain with AvaCloud technology, is launching a supply chain Layer 1 platform designed to combat fraud in global trade. The platform aims to address the $3 trillion annual loss caused by fake documents and invoice fraud by providing blockchain-verified Certificates of Authenticity (COAs). This initiative aligns with increasing U.S. tariffs and compliance demands that require improved verification methods. Meanwhile, Filecoin has integrated with Avalanche, initially focusing on C-chain builders but expanding to leverage Inter-Chain Messaging (ICM) for broader access across Avalanche subnets. Additionally, South Africa’s VERA, backed by Cheqd, is introducing a B2B messaging platform using verified digital IDs onchain to prevent invoice fraud and impersonation.
