
The integration of AI, particularly ChatGPT, into the workplace and its growing popularity among the general public, especially Gen Z, highlights a significant shift in productivity tools and cultural engagement with technology. Research indicates that 61% of AI utilization today is focused on improving work productivity, quality, and culture, with Gen Z leading this trend. Despite ChatGPT's increasing recognition for transforming conversations and enhancing productivity, a substantial portion of the American population remains unaware of its capabilities. According to recent surveys, 77% of Americans have never used ChatGPT, and 34% are not even aware of it. However, its usage is on the rise, with 23% of U.S. adults reporting they have used ChatGPT as of February, up from 18% in July 2023. Notably, nearly a third of employed Americans under 30 have utilized ChatGPT for work-related tasks, underscoring its growing influence in the professional landscape.
