Data Breaches Expose Over 4 Million Records Across Multiple Companies

A series of significant data breaches have been reported, affecting multiple companies and exposing a vast amount of personal and customer information. Poor cyber due-diligence was cited as a reason for the exposure of personal data including emails, names, and phone numbers. Orderchamp, an online wholesale marketplace, experienced a breach with over 200,000 users affected, with a threat actor claiming to sell the information of more than 200,000 users and over 200,000 orders. Another breach involved the release of the Le Slip Français database by a threat actor known as ShopifyGUY, compromising over 1,500,000 emails. Giant Tiger also fell victim to a data breach with 2.8 million records leaked online. In India, LeadSquared and WeRize databases were allegedly leaked by a threat actor, with 1.3 terabytes of data including customer information being exposed.
