Several companies and researchers have introduced new methods and technologies to reduce hallucinations in large language models (LLMs) used in artificial intelligence. Startup Lamini has unveiled a methodology that reduces hallucinations by 95%, while Galileo launched Luna, an Evaluation Foundation Model for accurate and low-cost hallucination detection. Other approaches include using RAG Technology and semantic entropy to minimize AI hallucinations. Scientists are also developing algorithms to detect and reduce AI 'hallucinations' in various applications, such as chatbots and medical reports.
