Milan-based Ephos, a producer of glass-based quantum photonic chips, has secured $8.5 million (approximately €7.6 million) in Seed funding. The funding will support the launch of a new facility dedicated to the production of these advanced chips. Ephos aims to transform quantum computing and AI with its innovative glass-based photonic technology. The NATO-backed company is expanding its operations in Italy.
