OpenAI has announced an extension of its free fine-tuning program for developers, allowing them to fine-tune GPT-4o and GPT-4o mini models through October 31. Initially set to end on September 24, the program has seen hundreds of thousands of models fine-tuned since its inception. Developers can utilize up to 1 million free training tokens per day for GPT-4o and 2 million for GPT-4o mini. This extension, which now runs until Halloween, aims to support the growing adoption and help more developers get started with fine-tuning their AI models.
