Since the launch of OpenAI's ChatGPT 3.5 in November 2022, the spread of generative AI content online has increased by 8,362%. Additionally, AI contributions on GitHub have surged by 230%, growing from 9 contributions per minute to 30 per minute by June 2024. Generative AI now accounts for over half of these contributions, which are three times more than before. Furthermore, mentions of 'AI' in earnings calls have risen by 2.5 times since ChatGPT's release.
