OpenAI is enhancing the functionality of ChatGPT by focusing on custom GPTs, which are touted as offering a superior way to customize ChatGPT with additional features, leading to strong adoption among users and developers. The company announced the winding down of the plugins beta on April 9, in favor of GPTs. Concurrently, initiatives are underway to make ChatGPT less verbose, as demonstrated by a project in collaboration with @LangbaseInc, set to launch next month. Additionally, VAIOT LTD is optimizing GPT in its assistant and implementing response streaming to reduce wait times. OpenAI is also updating its GPT store, likening it to 'the next app store,' with new features such as rating GPTs and providing feedback. Users have expressed appreciation for the ability to integrate custom instructions and prompt optimization techniques into ChatGPT, enhancing the quality of responses and outputs, and saving significant work time, with some users saving up to 5 hours daily.
I don't use "Custom instructions" enough. But ChatGPT is clearly made for it. So I ran a little experiment. ↓ Read the entire benchmark below https://t.co/yHArkBOzZQ
ChatGPT is the reason I save 5 hours of work time daily. But only if you write good prompts. Here are ultimate ChatGPT prompts to finish work in seconds: (I can’t live without): https://t.co/8scrfnTf5W
I like custom instructions in GPT-4 so much is because I can template all the prompt optimization techniques I've discovered that curate high-quality responses and outputs. Then, I can interact with ChatGPT in natural language with those optimizations already integrated
