Oracle, Microsoft, and OpenAI have announced a partnership to extend the Microsoft Azure AI platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This collaboration aims to provide additional capacity for OpenAI, leveraging Oracle's Gen2 AI infrastructure. As part of the deal, Microsoft will rent Oracle’s cloud servers, enhancing server capacity for OpenAI. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, 'OCI will extend Azure’s platform and enable OpenAI to continue to scale.' The announcement was made on Tuesday.
