Several companies in the USA and Canada have reportedly been compromised by ransomware groups such as LockBit 3.0, Blackout, ALPHV/BlackCat, and INC Ransom. The ransomware attacks have led to data leaks and encryption of servers and workstations, with ransom deadlines set for various dates. Optum, a UnitedHealth subsidiary, has also been linked to the ALPHV/BlackCat ransomware group.
Seeing reports that Epic Games may have been breached by ransomware attackers. First flagged by @RansomwareNews earlier today. The "Mogilevich" ransomware gang now claims to have over 180GB of sensitive data from Epic, CyberDaily reports.
NEW: Two months ago, the FBI “disrupted” the BlackCat ransomware group. They're already back—and their latest attack is causing delays at pharmacies across the US. https://t.co/MHgpu6hVV9
