The funding round, which also saw participation from Crew Capital and Alumni Ventures, brings the company's total funding to $26 million. SurrealDB, founded by brothers Tobie Morgan Hitchcock and Jaime Hitchcock, helps developers consolidate their databases. The company has also announced the beta launch of its cloud-based service, Surreal Cloud, with cloud beta access.
