Telegram has launched a new revenue-sharing model and introduced Business accounts, marking a significant step forward in its support for content creators and businesses. The messaging app now allows owners of public channels with at least 1,000 subscribers to earn 50% of the revenue from ads displayed on their channels, starting from 1000 subs. This revenue is generated through low-fee, high-speed TON Blockchain-based ads and will be available on Fragment in the coming weeks. Additionally, Telegram's Business accounts offer features such as business hours and location display, customizable start pages, quick replies, automated greeting and away messages, and customizable chatbots. The updates aim to challenge Meta in the competitive social media landscape by enhancing the platform's capabilities for smaller creators and businesses.
