Shareholders of Tesla ($TSLA) are debating Elon Musk's 2028 compensation plan, with concerns that failure to approve it might lead to Musk leaving the company. Some support Musk's plan, citing his past performance and the need to retain him for Tesla's future success.
The key of this $TSLA vote is to retain & keep motivated the world’s best entrepreneur to build the next best products within Tesla. Plus, he honestly deserves it. The best times are yet to come for Tesla. But in order for us to get there, we need Elon at the helm. https://t.co/b8PdT0LjEi
In 2018, I voted in favor of @elonmusk's comp plan, it just makes sense to keep my vote. He delivered in the goals, even when at the time they seemed totally bunkers, he deserves that comp package.
I don’t have any problem with Warren selling shares, but the scenario he paints that the compensation vote will fail, Elon immediately leaves the company, the entire AI team leaves and the company is destroyed is not likely IMO People have really let their imagination run wild… https://t.co/Z4G3hyRCed
