Thailand's car production declined by 11.39% year-over-year in July 2025, marking the first decrease in three months following an 11.98% increase in June. Despite the drop in production and sluggish exports, domestic car sales in Thailand increased during the same period. The Thai Commerce Ministry projects overall exports to grow by 2% to 3% this year. Additionally, exports in July exceeded expectations with an 11% year-over-year increase, although growth is anticipated to slow due to U.S. tariffs. Separately, KGHM reported a 2.4% year-over-year decrease in copper production for July, totaling 59,900 tonnes.
