Sophie Turner, who was 14 when she began playing Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones," said in a Flaunt magazine interview that growing up in the spotlight and amid the rise of social media "almost destroyed" her through anxiety, depression and an eating disorder. She urged the young cast of HBO’s forthcoming "Harry Potter" series to avoid social media, stay close to family and keep childhood friends as a way to remain grounded during what is likely to be a decade-long production. HBO’s reboot, now filming at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, has cast 12-year-old Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, alongside Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley after an open call that drew roughly 32,000 hopefuls. The series, which plans one season per novel, is slated to debut in 2027 and will feature several characters largely absent from the original films, including Charlie Weasley.
