HBO Max on 21 August released the first teaser for Season 2 of its Emmy-nominated medical drama “The Pitt,” confirming a 8 January 2026 premiere and the return of several key characters. The 60-second clip shows Noah Wyle’s Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch walking back into Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center 10 months after the events of the Season 1 finale. Katherine LaNasa’s charge nurse Dana Evans and Patrick Ball’s Dr. Langdon also reappear, while newcomer Sepideh Moafi joins the ensemble. Season 1, released in January, garnered 13 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nods for Wyle and LaNasa. Filming on the new season began in April; HBO Max has not disclosed how many episodes will air.
