Netflix has released the first teaser for the second season of its animated series "Devil May Cry," confirming a 2026 premiere for the adaptation of Capcom’s action-game franchise. The 45-second clip, unveiled during Anime NYC and shared widely on 21–22 Aug, centers on an impending clash between twin demon-hunters Dante and Vergil. It picks up after Season 1’s finale, hinting that Dante is now trapped in the demon realm while the human military group DarkCom prepares an assault that threatens both worlds. The footage also teases the arrival of additional game characters, including the antagonist Arius, and signals a shift in tone and scale as the series expands its mythology. Netflix has not announced an exact release date, but the streamer said production is on track for next year.
