Paramount+ will debut Episode 8 of the crime-drama spin-off “Dexter: Resurrection” on 22 August, continuing the 10-episode first season that launched on 11 July. New installments land weekly on the streamer’s Premium tier at midnight Eastern time, while French pay-TV network Canal+ holds domestic broadcast rights. The revival brings Michael C. Hall back as Dexter Morgan and features an ensemble that includes Peter Dinklage, Uma Thurman, Krysten Ritter and Neil Patrick Harris. Critics who viewed the first seven episodes describe the series as a return to the dark humor and narrative twists of the original show, though early chapters drew mixed reactions for pacing and credibility. Paramount+ pitches the series as a long-term franchise platform. The service, which charges $7.99 a month for its ad-supported Essential plan and $12.99 for the Showtime-bundled Premium tier, is using weekly drops to sustain subscriber engagement through the season finale scheduled for 5 September.
