Amazon Prime Video used Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live showcase to release the first teaser for Season 2 of its hit video-game adaptation “Fallout” and confirmed a 17 December 2025 global premiere on the streaming platform. The eight-episode season follows Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and Cooper Howard, better known as The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), on a journey into the Mojave Wasteland’s New Vegas. Footage highlights fan-favourite elements from the Bethesda game universe, including a live-action Deathclaw, Caesar’s Legion fighters and the Brotherhood of Steel. Justin Theroux joins the ensemble as tech tycoon Robert House, while Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias and others reprise their roles. Prime Video said new episodes will stream weekly, concluding in early February 2026. Season 2 arrives just 20 months after the show’s 2024 debut, which set viewership records for Prime Video. Amazon has already ordered a third season, signalling continued investment in the franchise.
