UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been charged with two misdemeanors stemming from an incident with a drug-testing agent who visited his home on March 30. The charges, which include assault and interference with communications, were filed after the agent, Crystal Martinez, reported Jones' alleged behavior to the police. If convicted, Jones could face less than a year in jail and up to $1,500 in fines, including $500 for the assault charge. Jones has entered a plea of not guilty and has been ordered to avoid contact with the victims and adhere to several conditions, including not breaking any laws, not possessing firearms or dangerous weapons, and not consuming alcohol or illegal drugs. His next virtual court hearing is scheduled for July 17.
