
Vahan, an AI-powered recruitment platform specializing in blue-collar workers, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. The funding round was led by Khosla Ventures, with additional support from Y Combinator and other investors. Vahan uses generative AI models to reach and recruit gig workers from India's small cities and towns, including for companies like Amazon, Uber, and Swiggy. The funds will be used to develop AI recruitment technology and expand Vahan's verticals. Vahan's founder and CEO, Madhav Krishna, stated that the technology will support eight major Indian languages.
