
French-American AI coding startup Poolside has raised $500 million in a Series B funding round to enhance its AI coding assistants and boost its go-to-market strategy. The funding round was led by Bain Capital Ventures and includes backing from French billionaire Xavier Niel. Poolside aims to build the world's most capable AI for software development, positioning itself as a competitor to GitHub and other platforms. StepStone VC also participated in this funding round.
