The round included participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Mayfield Fund, Premji Invest, Samsung Catalyst, MARA Holdings, Maverick Silicon, and GSBackers. This financing comprises $138 million in equity and $15 million in debt, bringing Auradine's total investment to over $300 million. The company plans to use the funds to advance its energy-efficient, hydro-cooled Teraflux Bitcoin miners and develop AuraLinks, an open-standards networking solution aimed at AI data centers to address computational power and energy efficiency challenges. Other notable AI funding announcements include Loti AI raising $16.2 million in Series A led by Khosla Ventures, Well securing $30 million to enhance its AI-powered health engagement system, Virtue AI raising $30 million in seed and Series A funding to address AI security gaps, Exaforce AI raising $75 million in Series A led by Khosla Ventures, Mayfield Fund, and Thomvest, and hellocare.ai obtaining $47 million in a growth round led by HealthQuest Capital. The AI landscape is also witnessing increased risks, with Microsoft reporting 1.6 million potential AI-driven online shopping scams per hour and highlighting the use of AI in sophisticated fraud and deception tactics. Industry experts emphasize the evolving threat landscape where generative AI is weaponized for cyberattacks such as deepfakes, spear-phishing, and voice fraud, underscoring the need for advanced AI-driven security solutions.
