Berkeley Compute has emerged from stealth mode, announcing a $5 million seed round led by Chia Project. The company aims to utilize blockchain technology to create a decentralized network of GPUs. Meanwhile, Commit-Boost is nearing its audit and production phases. This open-source public good, supported by multiple teams within the Ethereum community including PierTwo and Consensys, aims to introduce new features like pre-confirmations, not available with MEV-Boost, and provide more flexibility for validators in outsourcing block production to builders. Commit-Boost is seen as an important effort to reduce risks for Ethereum and enhance validator autonomy. The project has been in development for months.
We have been actively engaged in the development, testing, research, and feedback on Commit-Boost. This is an important open-source effort to reduce risks for Ethereum and give autonomy back to the validator set. https://t.co/6EOs2U5zYo
