The company, which unveiled its Beomni humanoid prototype in 2021, focuses on AI-driven robots for U.S. manufacturing. This move comes amid a competitive landscape in humanoid robotics, with Figure AI valued at $40 billion and achieving milestones at BMW factories. EngineAI is also targeting a financing round later this year at a $1 billion valuation to compete globally in humanoid robot development. Meanwhile, China’s UBTech Robotics plans to launch a $20,000 humanoid robot designed as a household companion, expanding its reach beyond industrial applications.
