On-chain data show BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes moved US$1 million in USDC to Binance on 20 August and withdrew about 7.66 million BIO tokens, giving him a new position in the BioFi-linked asset. The trade extends a buying streak that has seen Hayes deploy roughly US$14.37 million across six Ethereum-ecosystem tokens since 10 August; only part of his PENDLE holdings has been trimmed. Earlier in the month he also repurchased around US$10.5 million in digital assets he had sold the previous week, reversing a short-term bearish call. Away from crypto, Hayes has taken an undisclosed but sizeable equity stake and a board seat in a stem-cell therapy provider operating clinics in Mexico and Bangkok. Hayes, who has been a patient at the facilities for more than a year, said the investment aligns with his aim to extend healthy longevity as regulatory barriers to such treatments fall in more countries. The parallel bets on a genomics-themed token and a private health-care venture underscore the 40-year-old entrepreneur’s renewed appetite for risk after settling U.S. legal issues earlier this year. Hayes is scheduled to outline his market outlook at the WebX conference in Tokyo on 25–26 August.
