Blockscout, an open-source block explorer, has successfully raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by 1kx Network. The funding round also saw participation from Primitive Crypto, GnosisDAO, and over 40 angel investors, including notable figures such as Evan Van Ness, Alex Svanevik, Kartik Talwar, Igor Barinov, and Stefan George. Blockscout is known for providing critical infrastructure for the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem, enhancing data transparency and accessibility. The company aims to scale its open-source block exploration capabilities further. WalletConnect is powering Blockscout's interface with AppKit, which supports users from over 500 wallets across multiple blockchain networks, allowing exploration of more than 600 blockchain networks.
