Browserbase, a company specializing in AI-powered web automation, has successfully raised $21 million in a Series A funding round. The round was co-led by Kleiner Perkins and CRV, with participation from Okta Ventures. Browserbase, founded less than a year ago by Paul, provides infrastructure for developers to build and automate web interactions, enabling AI to use web applications autonomously. The company also launched an open-source AI-powered web automation SDK, named Stagehand. This funding, secured just nine months after inception, will help Browserbase continue to support hundreds of AI startups in automating web processes, including running headless browser processes.
