Business Insider has released its annual Seed 100 list, recognizing the top early-stage investors of 2025. The list, now in its fifth year, highlights investors who provide crucial support to startups at their inception, often before a product is developed. Investors on the list have backed a variety of successful startups, including companies like Sourcegraph, Benchling, Coco Robotics, and Mesh, among others. Notable investors include Kevin Mahaffey of SNR Ventures, Gaurav Jain of Afore Capital, and Naval Ravikant, known for his work with AngelList. The Seed 100 list is compiled using data analysis from Termina, a software platform spun out of Tribe Capital. The methodology focuses on the investors' ability to identify and support promising startups at the earliest stages.
