Cambria has announced a $2.5 million seed round led by BITKRAFT Ventures to develop a Runescape-inspired risk-to-earn MMO with onchain stakes. The project, which aims to combine nostalgic Runescape aesthetics with multiplayer risk-centric onchain games, has garnered support from several key backers including Piers Kicks, Pet3rpan, and Cyberpunk. Cambria's team previously delivered a successful play-test experience for their MMORPG, Gold Rush, while bootstrapped. The new funding will enable them to bring their ambitious vision to life.
