Experts predict a resurgence in private funding and initial public offerings (IPOs) for startups in 2025. According to the ETtech State of Startups survey, there is an anticipation of increased activity in public markets for new-age companies. Notably, at least 25 firms are expected to go public, a substantial rise from 13 in 2024. This potential increase would set a new record for startup IPOs in a single calendar year. Additionally, venture capitalists are expected to engage more actively in mergers and acquisitions within the crypto sector, as traditional finance players intensify their involvement in the cryptocurrency market, potentially reshaping the industry landscape.
