
Solasta Bio, a Glasgow-based, female-led Scottish agri-biotech firm, has successfully raised $14 million in a Series A funding round led by Forbion. The funds will be used to accelerate the development of eco-friendly, peptide-based bioinsecticides, which offer a greener alternative to traditional insecticides. This funding round was oversubscribed, highlighting strong investor interest in sustainable agricultural solutions.
