Decentralised artificial-intelligence start-up RICE AI launched its RICE governance token on 18 August, pricing the presale at a US$7.5 million fully diluted valuation and immediately reaching an estimated US$61 million market capitalisation when trading began at 10:00 UTC. The launch coincides with the company’s Series A financing, led by meme-coin developer Floki and joined by DWF Labs, TokenFi, Vibe Labs and other backers. The project has issued one billion tokens, with 20 percent unlocked at the token-generation event and the remaining 80 percent scheduled to vest linearly over the next six months.
