Fire1, an Irish medtech company focused on improving outcomes for heart failure patients, has successfully raised $120 million (€115 million) in a financing round. The funding, which was led by Polaris Partners, will be used to accelerate the development of its next-generation heart failure management platform, including the Norm heart monitoring device. The announcement follows the recent closure of a €1 million funding round by Vida Care, another Irish healthcare provider, which plans to establish ten health screening and testing clinics in Ireland.
