
Marut Drones has successfully raised $6.2 million in Series A funding from Lok Capital, aimed at developing advanced agricultural drones. The funds will facilitate the expansion of its channel partner network and the establishment of service centers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, enhancing service for rural customers. In a separate development, GalaxEye, a startup specializing in satellite-based Earth observation, secured $10 million in Series A funding led by MountTech Growth Fund, with participation from Mela Ventures, Speciale Invest, and ideaForge. Additionally, Heliware, an AI-powered 3D geospatial platform, received Rs 4 crore in Pre-Series A funding, with JITOJIIF leading the round. The funds will support the launch of Heliware's new products, Bhumi Maps and Bhumi Builder. Meanwhile, Garuda Aerospace, backed by MS Dhoni, is preparing for an IPO and plans to expand into the defense drone sector.
