Nvidia has participated in a $100 million funding round for a year-old Japanese AI startup. Additionally, Nvidia has backed Canadian AI image manipulation startup Wombo, which secured US$9 million in a new funding round led by Round13 Digital Asset Fund, with participation from CoreWeave. Wombo has raised more than $15 million to date and plans to use the funds to develop more generative AI applications, with a total funding of CAD 12.2-million.
