Data-center developer Crusoe is in advanced talks with investors to raise more than $1 billion at a valuation of about $10 billion, people familiar with the matter said. The prospective deal would more than triple the company’s worth from less than a year ago and give it additional capital to expand its cloud-services business, including work on OpenAI’s first Stargate facility. Crusoe generated roughly $250 million in revenue last year, according to the people. To bolster its GPU management capabilities, the Denver-based company recently bought Atero, a Tel Aviv startup that had been operating in stealth. The fundraising discussions are ongoing and terms could still change.
