Meanwhile, Coinbase has announced that Joe Salama will join the company as Chief Compliance Officer, succeeding Melissa Strait. Salama previously held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, including Global Head of Anti-Financial Crimes and General Counsel for the Americas. Coinbase's Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal emphasized the importance of compliance to the company and expressed confidence in Salama's ability to contribute from day one.
