Stripe Inc. has tapped Matt Huang, co-founder of crypto venture-capital firm Paradigm, to serve as chief executive officer of Tempo, the online payments company’s new blockchain-based network aimed at facilitating digital asset transactions, according to a Fortune report on Tuesday. Huang will retain his role at Paradigm while leading Tempo, underscoring the closely knit relationship between venture capital and corporate efforts to expand blockchain payments infrastructure.
