Solana-based trading platform Pump.fun has stepped up repurchases of its native PUMP token while unveiling a new investment vehicle aimed at nurturing promising projects built around its ecosystem. On 13 August the company bought back roughly 175.3 million PUMP for about $705,000, lifting total buybacks to 7.66 billion tokens valued at $30.65 million. The accumulated purchases represent 0.766 percent of the token’s circulating supply, according to on-chain data aggregated by Lookonchain. Earlier this week Pump.fun introduced the Glass Full Foundation, saying it has already invested $1.69 million in 10 tokens, generated a $164,000 profit and holds a reserve of 2,000 SOL. The dual strategy of token repurchases and early-stage investments signals the platform’s efforts to bolster confidence in its native asset and widen participation in its ecosystem.
