At the recent Stripe Sessions event, Stripe announced significant updates and new features across its financial services platforms. Key enhancements include the introduction of 17 embedded components allowing customization of onboarding, payment settings, and tax integrations directly within users' platforms. Additionally, Stripe unveiled faster access to Stripe Capital and a new Meters API for real-time, usage-based billing. The company also introduced app store connectors for seamless transaction imports from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Furthermore, Stripe's Connect platform has become modular, and the Payment Element now supports multiple processors, among 50 other updates. These updates are part of Stripe's broader strategy to decouple payments from its core services, making it easier for merchants to integrate Stripe's offerings with existing payment systems.
