
Battery Smart, a battery-swapping network for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers in India, has raised $65 million in a Series B funding round led by LeapFrog Investments. The funding round saw participation from MUFG Bank, Panasonic, Ecosystem Integrity Fund, Blume Ventures, and British International Investment. The funds will be used to scale the company's battery-swapping network and boost EV adoption in India. Battery Smart, backed by Tiger Global, has already completed over 35 million swaps and has more than 45,000 active customers.
