Donald Trump Jr. has bought 350,000 shares of Thumzup Media in a $6 million private placement, according to Bloomberg. The Los Angeles-based social-media marketing firm is currently unprofitable but has adopted a “crypto-treasury” model, holding more than $2 million in Bitcoin and signalling plans to diversify into six additional digital assets. The purchase expands the Trump family’s push into companies that accumulate cryptocurrency on their balance sheets, an approach intended to hedge against inflation and attract digital-asset enthusiasts. Thumzup did not immediately disclose a timeline for the planned additions to its crypto reserves.
