UpsideFun, a new internet trading platform, launched on the Base blockchain with limited initial slots available for early users. The app allows users to "day trade the internet," enabling rapid speculation on internet content. The project is backed by notable investors including Jason Choi, Arthur Hayes, and over 25 other angel investors. Early access requires an invite code, with various codes being shared among interested users. The launch has drawn comparisons to Noise.xyz but offers different exposure mechanisms. UpsideFun is part of Tangent.xyz's portfolio and has been in development for several months. Separately, other projects such as Project Voyager and SurgeKitX have also recently initiated beta or launch phases, targeting creators and community building.
