Vanta, a trust management platform specializing in security and compliance automation, has raised $150 million in a Series C funding round. The funding round was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from new investors including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan. This latest investment values Vanta at $2.45 billion, up from $1.6 billion in 2022. The company plans to use the funds to expand its AI capabilities, eliminate legacy compliance tools, and deepen its global presence, particularly in the UK and Australia. Vanta has grown significantly, having helped over 8,000 companies, including notable clients such as Atlassian, Omni Hotels, Quora, and ZoomInfo. Vanta crossed $100 million in ARR last year, and its ARR growth accelerated in the first two quarters of this year. The funding will also support Vanta's mission to secure the internet and protect consumer data.

One of my favorite fundraising conversations so far has been with Christina. From her time at USV to her experience building Vanta she has a nuanced appreciation for the role funding plays and the behavior it can drive. Huge congrats to her and the team! https://t.co/FD7fpeon22 https://t.co/BGSKsuE6dh
Last year, Vanta crossed $100M in ARR. In the first two quarters this year, Vanta's ARR growth accelerated. Good CEOs create a culture of consistent performance. Great CEOs require consistent increases in performance. @christinacaci is great. Excited to lead Vanta's Series C. https://t.co/5Tj1vyqnoF
